Who sets these terms
This site is run by Travel Echelon LLC. It is a limited liability company formed in Texas. On this page, "the desk", "we" and "us" mean that company. "You" means the person who sends a request, and "the company" means the local car company that takes your ride.
What each side handles
The desk receives your request, looks for a local car company with a car open at the hour you need, sends you that company's fare in writing, and hands your reservation to the company once you say yes. The company quotes the fare, sends its own driver, runs the ride and collects payment. Your ride is an agreement between you and the company, made on the terms in its confirmation.
Fixed fare in writing
Before you accept anything, you receive the company's fixed fare in writing. Once you accept it, the amount stays the same whatever the traffic, road work or route. A few extras can be added, each only at the price the quote shows:
- waiting past the free wait, at the quote's waiting rate
- a stop on the way, when you asked for one
- child seats, when you asked for them
Payment goes to the company
You pay the car company directly, by card in the car or as its confirmation explains. This site takes no payment, and the desk never charges riders anything. Each company pays the desk one set fee per ride; the desk collects it from the company. A quote is free and you owe nothing for asking. A tip for the driver is yours to decide.
Written confirmation from the company
After you say yes, the company sends a confirmation by text, and by email when you gave one. It states the fare, the car, where you will meet it, and a phone line the company keeps for the day of your ride. On the day itself, contact the company on that line. Keep the confirmation until the ride is over, since it holds the terms you accepted. If the confirmation does not arrive, tell us and we will follow up with the company.
Accuracy of your details
Please give us the full pickup address, the details of the door where the car should wait, such as a gate code or building number, and your flight number for a landing. We pass on what you send exactly as you wrote it. If a detail is wrong or missing, the car may wait in the wrong place, and the company may apply the terms in its confirmation.
Standing terms for every company
The desk passes rides only to car companies that accept the same standing terms for every ride that comes through it, and these are the terms your quote is built on:
- The fixed fare covers the car and driver, tolls on the route, the airport's access charge and large bags up to what the car size holds
- The free wait runs 30 minutes after a domestic landing, 45 after an international landing at DFW, counted from the actual landing when the flight number is in the request, and 15 minutes at your address
- No ride is counted as a no-show before its free wait has run out
- A sedan or SUV ride can be changed or canceled without charge up to 24 hours before pickup, a van ride up to 7 days before
- The written quote lists the company's price for extras such as waiting past the free wait, a stop or a child seat, and the confirmation sets out what a late cancellation or a no-show costs
Changes and cancellations
A sedan or SUV can be changed or canceled without charge up to 24 hours before the pickup time, and a van up to 7 days before. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged by the company only under the terms in the confirmation you accepted. Full details are on our cancellation policy page.
Fare figures on this site
Figures shown on this site are starting points that we checked on September 27, 2026. They show where a fare begins for a given car size and distance band. Your actual fare is the one the company names in writing for your ride, and it can be higher than the figure shown. See the pricing page for the bands.
Where responsibility sits
We answer for passing your request to the company accurately and on time, and for keeping a record of the checks we make on each company before a ride goes to it. The company answers for the ride itself: the car, its driver, the pickup, the route and the charge. Questions about a ride go first to the company on its confirmation line, and we will help you reach it if needed.
Content, governing law and changes
The words, images and layout of this site belong to the desk, and you may not copy them for another site without written consent. Notices of claimed copyright infringement go to datadesk@travel-echelon.com. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas. We may update them, and the date below shows the current version. A request sent before a change stays under the terms in force when you sent it.
