The company repeats the pickup time in its written confirmation, sent by text, and by email when you gave one, along with the car and its own phone line for the day of the ride.

Meeting your car after you land

A sedan or an SUV waits at the valet pavilion in Garage C, Level 1, as the airport posts it. A van needs more room, so the company names its spot in the text it sends you. Walk out of baggage claim and follow the signs for the garage.

Your flight number is what lets the free wait start at the right moment. At Love Field:

Streets close to central Dallas

Love Field is ringed by city neighborhoods rather than open land, which keeps the drive from the center of town short. Downtown is 6.3 miles away by road, about 15 minutes when traffic moves freely. Uptown is 6.4 miles, about 14 minutes, and Highland Park is only 4.3 miles, about 12 minutes.

Rush hour and events can still slow the roads near the field. Once you accept the fare it stays fixed, whatever the traffic does or whichever route the company's driver takes. Which airport costs less from your door

Neither airport always comes out lower. Each fare band follows the road miles between your pickup address and the airport you choose, so the answer turns on where you start. From Highland Park, Love Field is 4.3 miles off while DFW is 20.6, and the Love Field fare falls in a lower band.

From Grapevine the picture flips: DFW is 6.5 miles away and Love Field is 19.9, so the airport transfer to DFW is the shorter ride, though the sedan fare from Grapevine starts at the same figure to either airport.
